Why would I ever want to listen to 'static' music again?

I've been playing Guitar Hero ( at work of course ;-) ), and Elite Beat Agents on the DS and I'm thinking to myself, "Why would I want to listen to music that I can't interact with ever again?".

I gotta laugh. I was just reading the title of this entry quickly and it read in my mind as "Why would I ever wante to listen to 'satanic' music again?"

My daughter has a DS but only has a couple of games for it. Can you recommend any? I was thinking of getting her the new Pokemon Perl as a reward for her good school grades this year.

I'd recommend Elite Beat Agents but it may be too hard for kids even on easy, but I'm not sure. My son got frustrated on it, but I think it's because I was playing better than he was. I bought Nintendogs, but Victor had no patience with it and hasn't played it at all. He's playing Kirby and likes that. If you don't have Mario Kart or Super Mario Bros. you should get those first.
Metroid Prime, too hard.
Tetris, too boring.
