Programming: Open usability tests

As part of the OpenSUSE project they are publishing video of actual usability studies done showing users unfamiliar with Linux, using Linux. What a great idea, developers can look at that and see areas that they could improve.
I don't see Microsoft ever doing that.

Actually M$ does it, and extensively at that. They do not publish their results, they don't really need to, all development being internal. It's good that Linux uses the same tools and techniques. Interestingly enough though, the target market for Linux is not the same as M$. Linux's users are more technically savvy then Microsoft's.

I realized I wasn't very clear.
I meant that they wouldn't openly publish their results (good and bad) for everyone to see and comment on.
